I'm going to the Bahamas! 

Today we're flying to Nassau. I got to eat (a lot) at the lounge at the airport, and the sunset was really pretty through the window!

Friday, Nov 24th, 2023

I'm in Nassau! 

We went to go drop our luggage at the resort, then we went out for lunch at a pirate themed restaurant! They even had a quote from Captain Jack Sparrow! I'm a huge Pirates of the Caribbean fan, so I was really happy about that!

After lunch, we went to a pirate museum. In the picture above and to the right, I'm standing on a ladder inside a pirate ship! In the picture top middle, I'm literally in a Guillotine! Reminded me so much of that one scene in POTC. 

"Guillotine. Sounds French. I like the French." - Captain Jack Sparrow (yes, that was indeed written from memory!).

Then we went back to our hotel to go visit the pool! It was an amazing water park, with a lazy river, a cliff you can jump from, and a Flowrider (it creates fake waves and you can surf on it).

Today was another pool day, so, nothing much to report. The water's cool, the sun is amazing, I'm having a blast!

Sunday, Nov 26th, 2023

Atlantis.

That's where I am. The Atlantis resort on Paradise Island. 

This place is huge! It has so much to see, including a bunch of fish-tanks and other water animal habitats, and a full blown waterpark!

We just got here though, and it's kind of late, so we didn't really do much except walk around. 

But this place really is amazing.

Atlantis Waterpark baby!

We spent the entire day there! Going down slides into shark-infested waters (it's true!), adventuring through the rapid river and getting sprayed and nearly flipped, sliding into dark caverns with fish all around, everything!

The top photo is the view from our room. Pretty cool right. And that's just the fish tanks and animal habitats, not even the waterpark! This place is that big!

Water's still cool, sun's still hot, I'm still thriving!

Tuesday, Nov 28th, 2023

Today was another day spent at the waterpark, although today, we also went swimming in the ocean! There's a lot of fish here in the water, and we swam all the way out to a little platform thing that was anchored a little out there. I fell of twice! The waves kept pushing it around, and there was no stability!

The middle photo is the night view of Atlantis. It was so pretty!

Today was our last day at Atlantis. We once again spent some time in the water park, and looked at sharks and other animals in the aquariums.

Pirate Ship Adventure!

This was so fun for me, especially as a Pirates of the Caribbean lover. I got to dance all over a pirate ship, search for 'gold' with my sister, and (since we had the most) even steer the ship! 

The crew was really entertaining and super nice, and they even put on a mutiny and overthrew their captain! We spent the whole day on this excursion, going all over the island's waters, basking in the sun, acting like pirates. It was awesome!
